It’s possible that naming this blog using such a cliched phrase as ‘such as life’ doesn’t bode well for what follows.

Just to clarify, I am neither a fan of Ned Kelly and nor am I sure that I’m the realist that the phrase might imply.  However, it’s a phrase that gets used a bit in my family, particularly by my Dad, and I think it’s quite a good wee philosophy to have.

It’s a more spartan version of the Serenity Prayer in some ways – accept that there are some things that we can’t change and some things that we can.  It’s a philosophy I need to embrace a bit more, anyway.

Let’s see how we go…

About me?  I’m a mother of three, a teacher, counsellor, a reader, learner, lover of music, writing, theatre, film and all that jazz.
